Co-Operative Educational Sponsorship

The Division of Pharmacy Professional Development (DPPD) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of pharmacy continuing education.

DPPD routinely considers requests from:

• medical education companies,
• medical communication companies, and
• pharmaceutical industry, etc.,   

to provide pharmacy accreditation for educational and/or scientific programs.

To adequately evaluate such requests and to determine if the proposed event/program is consistent with our educational mission and guidelines as well as ACPE accreditation guidelines, we require information regarding the proposed program.

Any agreement by DPPD to provide pharmacy accreditation will be based on our expectation to be an active participant in program development through the review/approval of program content, faculty, marketing and evaluation.
