This often-brief interaction has the potential to provide a calming and reassuring message to patients, or create more stress. You can learn techniques to help you improve your communication skills and create a more positive communication environment. This 3-part program provides you with tools to improve your interpersonal communication skills. You will learn about different communication styles, take a test to discover your own, and how to work and interact with all types of communicators. You will learn strategies for communicating with patients in person and on the phone. In addition to developing a rapport, it is important to make sure that there is no miscommunication.
