Meet the Fall Milwaukee Conference Speakers

The Division of Pharmacy Professional Development at the University of Wisconsin School of Pharmacy is hosting the annual Fall Milwaukee Clinical Conference on September 26th at the Ingleside Hotel in Waukesha, Wisconsin. This is the 40th year of this continuing education program. I focused on Men’s and Women’s Health and I recruited six amazing speakers covering a variety of diverse topics.

Dr. Howard Bailey, MD, (Professor of Medicine and Obstetrics & Gynecology) kicks off the program speaking on development of cancer prevention agents. Dr. Bailey first presented this lecture in April of 2019 as a grand rounds presentation at UW, and he is sharing his insights with the pharmacy community at Fall Milwaukee. Interestingly, the AMCP Daily Dose® highlighted a news report on September 12 this year, questioning whether scientists have been selecting the wrong targets for cancer drugs. As a cutting edge researcher, clinician and educator, Dr. Bailey will be providing his thoughtful perspective with attendees.
